  • I'm back from Babington's after many years and the place always exudes great charm, with its period furnishings and attention to service. We stayed in two and had hot chocolate with cream and the famous Scones with Strawberry Jam and whipped cream. The chocolate was great, thick and tasty scones actually remembered them better, but the cream was utterly disappointing. Pretty lame and not very "tasty", too similar to that of aerosol cans. From a historical place of excellence expect the maximum on all products. Too bad.

  • The tea drinkers find everything your heart desires. Cakes and pies, all homemade. even the Strawberry Jam and the Scones. Class! Despite the abundance we have been served nice and friendly

  • At the base of the Spanish Steps, you will find Babington’s Tea Room. It is a little piece of England in Rome. It opened in 1893 when Isabel Cargill and Anna Maria Babington came to Rome on the Grand ...  more »

  • Absolutely delightful! Walked in expecting everything to be overpriced and with snobbish waiters. Instead, the staff was really polite to us, making it really special for my daughter. We ended up going back the next day and had their 'high tea' that split very well among the three adults without being too much. My daughter had the children's set. Everything was delicious and fairly priced for the quality. We'll definitely go back next time we're in Rome!
  • tried hard to like this as friends had given it a better wrap than we had. Food is just plain boring and brunch is not that hard to do well. Location is exotic and you feel like your somewhere but your not really. If the prices were 2/3 of what they charge it may have been slightly more palatable. Service ok.
  • One of the best chocolate cakes i ve ever tasted! Beautiful place!
  • Very nice English atmosphere. Staff very nice and polite. A bit on the pricey side
  • It offers to-go gelato. They shared that their gelato was home made. The stawberry is quite sweet and had strawberry pieces in it. It tasted similar to strawberry jam. The pistachio is creamy and with pieces that is visible in the eye.
