  • The Patron's auditorium is the only building preserved from the Villa of the Patron in Rome. The same guy who lived in the last decade of the 1st century BC Guy Cilnius patron, an ancient Roman statesman and patron of the arts, a personal friend of the founder of the Roman Empire, the "father of the fatherland" Guy Julius Caesar Octavian Augustus...

  • The area between St. Eusebio (Vittorio Square) and Palazzo Brancaccio became the property of Mecenate, Augustus' collaborator, in the 1st century. Bc. The palace, the tower, the swimming pool have been lost; remains this basement with niches frescoed to gardens and landscapes that create the illusory image of open windows on a garden; an absidate part is in the scan. On the outer side towards Piazza Vittorio there are large blocks of tuff belonging to the walled walls of the Serviane. Here you can breathe a refreshing atmosphere like the one you met in Livia's house at the Massimo Museum

  • A rectangular classroom, basement, with apse. It dates back as far back as 30 BC and was part of the Horti Maecenatis of the villa of Gaius Clinio Mecenate, an influential friend of Emperor Augustus. He protected, encouraged and supported intellectuals and poets such as Horace, Virgil, and Propertius.

  • Superb place ! Nice and clean room ! Near the center without the noise. Good pastries down the street. Excellent price/quality ratio. I highly recommend !
  • Very expensive for the services it provides.. The staff was rude and there was no hot water.. Stay away.
  • Nice place for it’s price. Good location, friendly staff. Only one notice: the shower is leaking a little bit. But it was not such a huge problem. 4 of 5
  • Good hotel it is right in the middle of a sketchy location and a great location. If you go down to the park your not in a great place but up and around the corner and it's beautiful. There is no water or ice available here. Rooms are good and the air conditioning is good. Short walk to the Colosseum and forum!
  • I've traveled all over the world, and it is the first time i receive such a bad behavior. Without any reason, they cancelled our reservation , nine days before the trip (we have booked this hotel 4 months ago).We are looking for another hotel right now. DON'T EVEN TRY IT THERE!!!!
