  • In this shop of yesteryear are quality products, flavours of tradition, unique in their kind. Cheese, sausage, bread. Council cottage cheese that makes a fine show in the window ... What about the bacon of Norcia, whose perfume intoxicates you upon entry. All of these specialties are presented and served by Roberto and his family than with embarrassing kindness and courtesy, make the customer feel comfortable. Thanks Steve.

  • Simply place the iconic of a Rome that it is not true that there's more: that beautiful Rome made of genuine products and courtesy all romana is also here. There's everything from local meats, very short chain, until the cheese always controlled production. Pecorino romano, caciotte, ricotta, coglioni di mulo, ham, salami. Still, baked ricotta as they once were and all that grocery romanesca should have! Needless to dwell on a product, the better to be guided by the nose or vista ... and listen to the advice of the owners. And then there are Anna and Roberto, two wonderful people and lavish of advice and wisdom! A place just beautiful for all this and more, how can you not love him?

  • Antica Caciara is a definite favorite in Rome! A real treasure of a delicatessen with a completely distinctive good, warm, friendly atmosphere. We buy Parma ham, wild boar sausage, parmesan, pecorino-cheese, truffle salsa, pancetta mm. Thank you so much for yet another visit to the absolutely brilliant Signor Roberto and Signora Anna and their staff! Add a visit-it is our heartfelt recommendation to all of our friends who are on tour in Rome! Arrivederci!

  • Thank goodness that a few places like this have survived the "touristisation" of Trastevere. A genuine local cheese, Salumi and wine emporium.... a real blast from the past. Such nice staff and such great products.
  • Great place to buy food to travel back to your place. We bought cheese and pancetta, and it was awesome. Staff is super friendly and the food was awesome.
  • The owner was there and you can tell he loves what he does. It shows in his work, the cheeses and meats there are fantastic.
  • The best cheese shop in the world. I dare you to walk by and not purchase something. We ordered a piccolo-sized pecorino cheese wedge, small corallina di norcia sausage, and chianti -- the perfect snack.
  • It's the wikipedia entry for guanciale, I mean come on.
