  • Built in 1887, under King Humberto I, the Acquario Romano building never became a full-fledged Roman Aquarium... It was a circus, a cinema, a warehouse of the Opera House, and a municipal long-term building, restored from 1985 to 2002... Now is the headquarters of Casa dell'Architettura...

  • Turning in the streets parallel to the Termini station, unexpectedly,I discover this little jewel. Built in 1882 by the architect Ettore Bernich as a hub of aggregation of Rome "well", but almost immediately abandoned precisely because the Roman bourgeoisie itself moved to more qualified neighborhoods. It is a structure that, thanks to the eclectic vision of its creator, brings to mind more works. From the cylindrical shape of the Pantheon, to the facade reminiscent of the Trevi Fountain, the double staircase as in the most important Palladian villas. The interior has a double order of Corinthian columns that support the two floors. On the first floor there is also a "real stage" for any performances. Everything is decorated with a scene that brings back to the water and in this room (even in the side parts of the building that are now used as an exhibition space and library) were present the tanks with fish. Beautiful is the dodecagonal skylight cover. It remained decommissioned until 1990, now reclaimed as a space for exhibitions and exhibitions. It is located in Piazza Manfredo Fanti 47

  • The park guards complain about pretty much anything. Have not seen the aquarium.
  • A beautiful place to soak in the sun. Strict rules enforced by park keepers - keep your shoes on and your voices down! :)
  • Not much to it but a hosting hall. Attended an event here and the atmosphere was dull (due to a lack of music); and although the food was good, I spent the first the first 10minutes recovering from the vulgar accosting that I’d endured on the journey in. This venue is situated in the Italian equivalent of the Red Light District, so be warned.
  • A Nice place. If you stay near Termini and have time should go there.
  • Awesome.
