  • The castle of the 12th is characterized by an imposing central building with 3 floors and two cylindrical towers; the two towers are different from each other: the first is to be streamlined and so high that on the opposite side is lower. at present access is by an outdoor courtyard, the main structure of the castle is partially open, at the foot of the castle there is a beautiful church

  • The castle is in good condition externally; crumbling internally. The Guide, not prepared, has heightened our disappointment. The museo Giacomo Morra, quoted on the site, is non-existent (I quote the response from the guy at the ticket office). The kitchens have been renovated to be targeted, according to information learned from the official website, to cooking school closed or, better said, never opened (I quote always the answer, in this case, of the Guide). The Internet site of the castle is not faithful to reality. And all this you are asked for the price of 5 € (without reduction for older people). Just too much!

  • While hiking in a group in Roddi, I have booked a guided tour of the imposing Castle which dominates the town and still in good condition the donjon, high defence tower, well integrated into the structure. Escorted us very prepared who explained in detail the history of the Castle, showing the various rooms, still not restored, but unquestionably noteworthy for decorations and coffered ceilings. I found it extremely interesting sixteenth-century kitchens located in the basement.

  • We were yesterday morning! The girl who accompanied us in the various rooms were very nice and prepared. Maybe with a bit of restoration would become a major attraction for the country.
