  • Besides the beautiful church in Roccaverano they can admire the imposing and sturdy medieval tower-dated 1200-overlooking the piazza but from separate quetsta where it can be observed in complete silence and maybe go back in time. It will also been restored, I don't know, but it's still nice to see it in its entirety despite the years and even then there were no cranes and concrete mixers we meditate?

  • This little village with 2 restaurants, 1 pharmacy, post office and a tiny little grocery is charming. The tower is located next to the Church.

  • Cute village. Very nice Tower, 35 m high, as its circumference. We climbed up to the top and after a bit of a pain we were rewarded with a stunning view. In clear days you can see the sea! bought robiola. ... Very good!! Fresh and seasoned. Highly recommended

  • The climb to the highest point in Asti province is strictly for the able-bodied. In places the stairs are substituted by ladders that are nearly vertical: however, there are handrails everywhere, so it is perfectly safe. On the way there are excellent information displays in Italian, English and German that explain the background and history of the tower and its surroundings. Among other things, you learn that the tower was built in 1255: its continued existence is a testament to the lack of earthquakes in the region. The view from the top, even on a slightly misty day in September, was truly spectacular. I could only imagine the view of the Alps in the distance that you must get on a clear day in the winter: it should be stunning.
  • Distinctive Tower in the Centre of the small village of Roccaverano. Free admission, all well kept. The access door is about one meter and fifty, and you must stoop to enter. Within a set of stairs are quite steep and climb up to the top to allow iron. The view at 360 degrees in the Langhe hills, with the Alps in the background is gorgeous. Worth a visit, and worth stopping to admire the scenery, absolutely gorgeous.
