To access a modest ticket (someone complains but evidently has never been abroad) and then you climb, climb, climb through the rock, carved faces and human remains, until the Summit chapel with carved stones in remembrance and Thanksgiving. Spiritual.

The road very smooth and uphill is very beautiful because it passes through a forest with autumn colors is impressive. As soon as you arrive there is a small parking fee but to get into the Hermitage should you pay the ticket costs €3 without a guide. Outside there are some benches and a fountain flowing with good fresh water to drink. Inside the Hermitage there are toilets. You can also visit the Interior with a guide but at scheduled times and at a higher cost. The Hermitage is open from May to October from 10 to 17 anyway before you go you should inquire about the days and hours of operation. Nice place although I prefer distinctly the other Hermitage.
l'eremo è davvero suggestivo, a cominciare dalla strada che si percorre, che non solo è imers nel bosco ma ci mostra scorci di boschi, montagene panorami assolutamente spettacolari. grande parcheggio.... more »the Hermitage is really impressive, beginning with the road that runs through, which not only is imers in the Woods but shows us glimpses of the Woods, "Südtirol Jazz Festival absolutely spectacular views. big parking lot ... Alas. Unfortunately the management is entrusted to a cooperative which requires an entrance fee absolutely disproportionate, especially if you visit n family: there are no tickets risotto for children. We refused and so we had to settle to visit the only small church.
One of the shrines around celestinian della Majella, maybe not the nicest, but still extremely impressive, nestled in the rocks and greenery, with an organization that (finally) works, an exciting guided tour, a mysticism that oozes from every rock, marred only by tourists who show up in flip-flops and swimsuits that roam the ancient pathways of Pietro da Morrone as if they visited the beach in Ibiza. But in fact, the sensitivity is becomes an opinion. However, even if the visit is not too complex, ladders are steep and slippery, especially in the final descent for which flip-flops are strongly discouraged for reasons beyond spirituality!
Hermitage Gigantic! For free you can visit the Church (rather bare, but immediately inside on the left there are plaques with historical and artistic description of the entire Hermitage), while to visit the Hermitage you have to buy an expensive ticket. 3 euros. The Hermitage itself, inside, has a high visual beauty; However, walking inside the tunnels and passing from the various rooms you wonder if you thought that was all built by men with his bare hands, especially since the Hermitage extends over practically 3-4 floors in height. Unfortunately it is still in the works, and even the total absence of indoor signage and explanations (the brochure provided at the ticket office is inconvenient consultation) is of no avail to the beauty of the place.
Clinging to the mountain, built with granite warm cream of Majella, at the bottom of the sound of the stream. All simply delicious. The restoration was done really well and the people who run the place are prepared and courteous. What about; Good, good, very good!
Only to visit
Very impressive and easy to get to (you are driving) than other hermitages around celestinian. Bella permanent exhibition on Beuys into the rooms of the monks.
