  • This place is accessible by car but is popular with groups who like to go hiking. In the Camp, Abbeteggio, Roccamorice, there are many routes for walking and you can visit several tourist attractions including shrines, churches, and buildings characteristic of the place. This Hermitage was built between 1262 and 1263 and was expanded over time. It has long been abandoned and renovation works were carried out recently that have brought to light a lovely place and very impressive.

  • But first, find out if it is open. In fact, the Hermitage is not always open to visitors and the most beautiful spot to visit and definitely the Interior. The visit to the Church is free but you must bring your ticket at the entrance to the Hermitage. The ticket has a different cost if you want to avail the help or not. I think would be to improve security x children about external balconies, for example by installing simple glazed banisters.

  • Hermitage Gigantic! For free you can visit the Church (rather bare, but immediately inside on the left there are plaques with historical and artistic description of the entire Hermitage), while to visit the Hermitage you have to buy an expensive ticket. 3 euros. The Hermitage itself, inside, has a high visual beauty; However, walking inside the tunnels and passing from the various rooms you wonder if you thought that was all built by men with his bare hands, especially since the Hermitage extends over practically 3-4 floors in height. Unfortunately it is still in the works, and even the total absence of indoor signage and explanations (the brochure provided at the ticket office is inconvenient consultation) is of no avail to the beauty of the place.

  • Emotions of the spirit in a spectacular natural setting ... the restoration of the attractions is not fully respects the original beauty. In any case worth a quick visit.

  • Beautiful location for the spirit. Very impressive frame of nature in the surrounding areas. Abruzzo is exceptional for all historical places in nature, like the many monasteries in the area.
