We spent 10 days off and cool in this beautiful village, while all Italy was stifled by Lucifer, a country with great history ancient palaces, churches and museums fear, shame about the Castle burned to the ground.

How you'd call exceptional visit to a place like this honestly escapes me. Reading the various reviews you imagine a country that takes its name: Roccagloriosa. That is not the case if something glorious remained only in name. While it is true that everything is relative, who gave 5 stars to a village like this seeing towns such as Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Pienza and I could go on for hours, should give him at least 50 looking deeper into the country, a maze of small streets that if well maintained could also be agreeable, you realize the level of deterioration of this small town. Most of the old town can be reached by stairs was modest and largely inaccessible. There are more and more Calhoun with scaffolding on the alleys where you risk really getting hurt by falling or by taking a piece of the wall in the head. Walking through the narrow streets, read stairs, you have the impression of entering the House of the people, maybe that's what love to tourists who have reviewed this town, but I don't really like it and I have the impression that not much either to locals. In an almost ridiculous some of, let's call them buildings, have a banner with the caption in braille. You do not understand to use and consumption by those who saw that first point: there is no tourism services in the country. Second point: the climb to get in those mansions is really wild is dangerous let alone for a visually impaired. Thirdly, To refurbished there is only the name tag, the palazzo, are almost in line with other housing dwellings. May already be enough but it doesn't end here, on Sunday morning the Central Church of the village is of course closed and the archaeological museum in July (in November) is only open one and a half hours in the afternoon. Don't waste your time coming here, the Cilento offers more ...

Christ stopped at Eboli Carlo Levi had not once ... but a thousand times right. An exceptional place embedded in upper Cilento, a "Pearl" unspoiled nature looking upwards not the majestic Mount Bulgheria and dominates at sight eye on the Gulf of Policastro, with the tombs of the 3rd century, would have all the numbers, to fly in tourism, but who comes here, misses absolutely nothing. Except the goodness and availability prioverbiale, folks, "tough", with a great heart "," no, not located anything. Not only landscapes, fresh air, green as far as the eye that plunges into the sea ... is living the common mortal. I was under the impression that these men and women don't see in tourism a possible driver of growth. They are not aware of the enormous natural wealth-landscaping on higher. Tourists, albeit treated great and with the utmost courtesy and manners, more than welcomed, have suffered, endured not supported. After all, end are just unnecessary meddling, which break the sacral trend of time, which absolutely here was and continue to be: slow. Too bad.
