  • At about 2 km from the A1 exit of Lanciano, well marked by signs, you will find the zoo of Abruzzo. Is a small but well equipped and with a variety of wildlife really appreciable. The animals give the impression of being well kept and maintained. To the delight of children there are slides and other plays, including a minipista with electric vehicles, as well as the opportunity to ride the ponies. In a theater curtain are then required several shows. I have personally witnessed an amusing display of Dalmatian dogs. There is also a snack bar and a picnic area. In conclusion, an ideal place for a nice family day out.

  • Prodded by demands to see animals from my daughter decided to go and visit the Zoo of Abruzzo. The place is easily accessible especially if you come from the motorway Tollbooth. Get the tickets we went towards the area where they say there were the famous Lemurs of Madagascar. Even the shadow instead. I discussed this and tell me that usually come out when it's mealtime so we decide to revise later hoping to find them. We continue towards the rest of the Zoo and honestly what I saw as an ordinary visitor was a State of general neglect. Of course we appreciate the work they do daily traders but I expected more from this Zoo. The animals are there and some are really nice but I was extremely impressed with the lion in her enclosure. We passed at 10:15 and maybe lay sleeping and revising several times I noticed that it was minimally displaced. I honestly made me reflect and regret this. Cute li shows of horses and Dalmatian.

  • The pictures of the zoo are not reality. The cages were terrible small and some birds were fixed by a rope. The elephant must live there alone and it seems to be sick and hospitalised. The playground for children was not redecorated since decades and must be payed seperately (e.g. 2€ for the carousel from the 70s). This place is unbelievable and a visit is not recommenable!
  • For a carefree day and also educational for children. There are animals for everyone from the apes at the seals (1), the rhinoceros or the giraffes and the leontigre (a cross between a lion and a Tiger) beautiful and mighty!!. The Park offers green areas to eat freely, but at the same time has a snack bar with hot and cold sandwiches and rides and inflatables. Nice idea of the shows with horses and Dalmatian dogs.

  • Is a private zoo with private funds. Interesting especially for children. A little dirty and shabby, but I guess that means we are very limited, since the times of crisis ... High costs and low returns. To see still worth it and you have to contribute to the maintenance of those poor little beasties

  • The zoo and very cute, even though I would cure more l appearance of place a zoo family run and very friendly ... Inside you will find a bar where the owner/ristorante Carla with its sweetness and friendliness makes your stay pleasant. The food is all prepared by her tasty and cheap ... The shows are very cute even though I believe that with better organization would make the place even more beautiful ... Suitable to spend a few hours with their children ...

  • Apparently healthy animals. Just enough space in particular as regards the big cats. Prices are reasonable considering the fact that the management would be totally in charge to individuals or, if owned, too high. It would be desirable for greater control on the part of the authorities.
