  • That ancient volcano that looms over the Roman countryside, millanta portrait paintings of centuries ago with pastoral scenes, ruins and nature, reference of the peoples of Ancient Latium, but also strategic site during the cold war, is from the perspective of touring made today "invisitabile". You know, there are trellises and poderosissimi repeaters and in quantity, and military limits impassable, preventing in fact come with satisfaction at the top, then no signage directs you where looking for a "breathtaking", yet one senses that the scenery is there noticeable by a glimpse on the Via Sacra overlooking the Lakes. The old paved Street, black lava stone, which also terminates without notice in a bricked, I've read that it's been cleaned up a few years ago, but is now too haphazard, the tables that should describe in detail the Woods aren't already used, tables and benches along the way appropriately put but already tampered with. Idea so regardless, cast some of the visitors but also of the Administration, as always and everywhere.

  • Wanting to spend a day taking a walk not too demanding with his family (wife and two children, one still in the stroller), I decided to venture into this sacred way that from Monte Cavo flows down the highway. Well maintained with several points of rest and refreshment (coffee tables and benches) on the way down. It was the middle of summer, but in the dense forest was a wonder and refreshment made up the (little) effort during walking.
