  • Beautiful example of moated castle entirely surrounded by the water of the Lake. It has been well restored and retains all its features: the large stone walls, the small drawbridge and the four corner towers. It has a majestic and austere air that lets imagine its glorious past. You can visit as it is the seat of the Civic Museum and the Pinacoteca Comunale.

  • During our visit to the Christmas markets of Trentino couldn't miss a visit to the House of Santa Claus. Here you will find a large number of people, who flock to visit this attraction housed in a spectacular Museum in the Centre of Riva del Garda. Immediately we had impression a bit confusing when you log in. Upon entering we stumbled across some activities that were taking place with some laboratory to entertain children in some activities for children, and as we got higher through the rooms of the fortress, we saw that had been set up was really well done and there was a really nice Christmas context. Going forward, after a couple of rooms, perhaps because of time, the 17:00 about, that many labs were no longer active, we found ourselves at the Hall that housed the throne of Santa Claus, with a multitude of children intent on writing your own letter to then do the photos. The cutest thing is the room with the frames where you can put and get a nice picture. Frankly I was a little disappointed given the impressiveness of the structure, I expected that there were more rooms to visit and steps to follow before we get to see Santa, because to get a family spends fifteen euros. Otherwise the festively decorated city is charming and outside of the fortress there are medieval games that are beautiful to look at.
