  • Offers brilliant views over Torbole. Those who are interested in history, here surely comes at his own expense

  • Great tour of the port of San Nicolo up on the Monte Brione with all its mounting ruins down in the village of Sant'Allesandro and from there back to the port. Is also super dog :-)

  • We covered all the "path of peace", which travels around the loop monte Brione. The first stretch, to the East, overlooking the Lake and the town of Torbole ... very scenic! Along the way we saw fortifications used during the first World War: strong Garda and strong battery of medium are the first two and are excellently preserved. Then, pointing toward the North, you get to Fort St John, of which remain only the walls. The tour continues down towards the Northwest and you arrive at the imposing building of the powder magazine. Then, turning back toward shore. The location is really nice panoramic and naturalistic point of view, both from the point of view of military architecture (in the vicinity of buildings we found explanatory panels). The only flaw is that, while to the second strong the trail is well maintained and well marked, then we haven't found clear signs of the path and we necessarily had to make do with gps phones. Too bad!
