  • Lovely calm water, kids loved the black sand. Beach hut cafe served great burgers, ice creams and drinks. Worth a visit if you're in Rio Marina.  more »
  • Unlike most of the people who have reviewed this beach, we explored the part of Topinetti without umbrellas and bar, which is the rightmost part of the beach; to arrive there was enough Park where the road forks, and walk (5 minute walk either way peers) on the right, crossing a small bridge. The choice was providential! Unlike most of the island's beaches (including probably the area equipped the same Topinetti), which even in mid-September are nothing short of grabbed sixty at once by tourists, we found in this idyllic peace zone all afternoon! But the most striking thing about Topinetti is the color palette that looks! Being in the mining area of the Elbe, here we find the dark sands that makes a beautiful contrast is with small multicolored pebbles that dot, creating a wonderful mosaic of colors, both with the rocks with intense shades that surround it. Particularly striking towards the sunset, where the warm colours of the rocks are further enhanced by sunlight. It should be noted that, as can be seen even in the pictures, even the seabed has pebbles and small rocks, but is low and the water crystal clear: of course children present with us on the Beach had no problems playing in the water. If you are looking for some peace from the "chaotic" beaches of Elba, and a beautiful color palette for Feast your eyes, be sure to visit Topinetti! Ah, little heads, especially to families with children: the area surrounding the road to reach the beach has what appear to be fields or small areas, where we have had an unfortunate encounter with the Viper Elba! So I recommend: think twice before putting one foot out of the way!

  • Is a very special Beach, we are close to the cave, then the sand is rich in haematite and generally ferrous elements, which give it its characteristic dark color/black, and that the Sun, sparkling and shimmering. Attention so that if the normal sand under the rays of the Sun is hot, it will melt your skin! Unique is also the colour of the rocks inside and out from the sea, the sea which is sparkly clean! Attention as always in the wind, in this beach in particular I had to weigh down the umbrella more carefully, because at certain times blew strong. It is still a beach that I recommend to visit to learn more about Elba and to vary from the white beaches. For those who want to eat, there is also a small bar.
