  • Great for exhibitions and the chronological subdivision. The route runs on 4 floors, starting from prehistoric times to the Roman conquest in the basement and first floor, while on the second we find works from the 14th to the 16th century, on the third floor-related works from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century. Notable paintings by Guercino, Calfee and romagnoli painters.

  • Very interesting exhibition about ancient roman city of Ariminium (today's Rimini)
  • Very good museum. It made with great love to the city.
  • The Museum "Luigi Tam" offers to citizens and tourists can admire precious artistic and original archaeological collections. The courtyard houses the ROMAN SQUARE CAPITALS, a collection of a hundred inscriptions from the 1st century BC to the fourth century. d.c. that provide information about family, religious and political sphere of public and private life of that time. Ground floor:-Space dedicated to RENÉ GRUAU, author of drawings, paintings and graphics. -Room dedicated to "BOOK of DREAMS" by FEDERICO FELLINI, a repertoire of figures, circumstances and themes that resurface in his films. First and second floor: Through the historic eighteenth century staircase leads to the Gallery: a chronological path from the 11th to the 20th century: it contains, among others, masterpieces of fourteenth century Rimini school, including the majestic fresco of the last judgement, the masterpieces of the Renaissance Court, 17th century painting has Cagnacci, in Watson and his most representative exponents in Guercino.  The Museum's ARCHAEOLOGICAL complex and extraordinary Underground exhibition on the history of Rimini from prehistory to the late Augustan period. Ground floor: Imperial path dedicated to Rimini between the 2nd and 3rd centuries, spread with the exposure of the exceptional surgical instruments and the ruins of the domus piazza Ferrari and the splendid mosaics from the domus at palazzo Diotallevi. ENG A short walk through the streets of the city centre will take you to Piazza Ferrari, where the Church of Suffrage, built by the Jesuits (1719-1740) in honour of Saint Francis Xavier can be found. Beside it there is the Jesuit monastery (1746-1755) designed by an architect from Bologna, Alfonso Torreggiani. From 1797 to 1977 it was used as a hospital, first military and then civil, and it now houses the City Museum, with numerous exhibits of local historical-artistic heritage. The course, which will be completed once the building is fully restored, follows chronological criteria from the formation of the territory to the current day. There are more than 1500 works on display in 40 galleries on a total of 3.000 square metres. The number of exhibits is going to increase because new sections are scheduled to be opened.
