  • Although it was a Sunday afternoon at 17, the Church was still closed. Façade and portal quite anonymous, but is located in the square, considered the "navel of Italy".

  • This church is actually in the geographic centre of Italy. Smallish and not always open is really a gem to behold. In the same square there are delicious restaurants.

  • 18th-century façade insignificant; the Interior should be Baroque, use the conditional because the Church found it closed. Would be interesting to take a look at the sacristy with walls painted with trompe l'oeil technique, but above all see the canvas of the guardian angel. Too bad. The Church is located in the square and the latter (not large) lies between the narrow streets of the old town behind via Garibaldi-side Velino; in the middle was placed a monument (a kind of round stone table) representative of Italy; a plaque on the outside of San Rufo specifies that fact in multiple languages. Is it true? The doubt arises spontaneously, since the territory of Narni is advertised a similar point, not far from the city, such as the geographical centre of the peninsula.
