  • The Museum is housed in a sulphur mine. In the whole area there are several artifacts of industrial architecture disused mining, but this should be the most important. Unfortunately it is only available in a small part, where the life of the mine and the miners one saw only thanks to a remarkable photo exhibition. The rest is a small museum without infamy and without praise, offering huge potential when properly valued. And since we are in Sicily cannot miss work situations: the Museum, who knows what mess is without electricity so usable only in the presence of sunlight.

  • Beautiful Museum I have visited several times. Surely there are a lot of things to improve. We should reevaluate some areas of the mine

  • The mixture of popular history and contemporary art by local artists from a wonderful feeling of temporal continuity! Beautiful old mine power station (part of the visit), which contains within it 3 of 4 twin engines built at the beginning of the last century, one of which was mounted on the Titanic! Very friendly staff very helpful, will guide you throughout your visit to the Museum ... only Achilles heel of no electricity for more than a year, due to the lack of competence of the administrations of the two municipalities involved in the management of this site
