  • The real mine is 10km cup the mountain, so they displayed the steps of the mine. Very interesting. I loved the guides.  more »
  • This mine is worth a visit in any case. Especially suitable for families with children. The rd 2 hour guided tour is designed so that it will not be bored children, be involved again with. Not driving while "in real" underground, but reconstructed tunnel, but the feeling goes in a ca 500 m long is the same in my opinion. At individual stations work in the mine are shown in the gallery and also the technical development in the several hundred years mining at Mount Snow. The Guide costs € 10 and is approximately two hours. The price performance ratio is top, I think. A special thanks goes to Helga that the two hours has led us through the mine and ore processing halls. It was super interesting and entertaining through its kind of funny really.

  • We have today participated in the management of Mrs Verena Wurzer at 11:15. I have seldom experienced a so informative, appealing and interesting guide! And I am very grateful for many new and valuable insights on mining. Appealing for small children your type of adults is very competent. It has answers to the questions and knows how to make the mining industry in its 800 year-old effort in the present context. Thank you very much for this!

  • Really enjoyed the visit; the guide was funny. They did not gave us a gem like they did years ago
  • So cool!
  • The ore body of Ridanna-Monteneve, attested since 1237 as Sneberch (today Schneeberg) and around 1500 Fuggers of Augsburg property with over 1000 miners, is one of the highest in Europe (between 2,000 and 2,500 m a.s.l.) and that longer productive in the Alps (silver was mined since the end of the 12th century). The numerous mine plants outside and inside the mountain, which rises between the Val Ridanna and Passiria, are almost all intact. The underground mine teaching Farm gives an idea of the hard life of the miners, with the ability to make a trip underground in disused galleries. Remained active up to the present day drew for more than 600 years, silver, zinc, lead, using the river water highly polluted today. We recommend a visit to all for industrial history. The minieta is still intact and functional. If you want to sightsee the top you have to book in advance.

  • More beautiful Museum (like everyone in Trentino for that matter) partly open and partly "underground" (as easily predictable). Great for kids but watch your path: there are really challenging.

  • Nice visit that made me reflect on the luck had to be born in my time and then not. Still very inspiring!
