  • There are few places in Italy where the recent history of our country is so alive and meaningful. In this room our flag was born more than 200 years ago, when Italy was not the color, but already he was looking for something unifying many small republics and small States. Reggio Emilia has this boast, to have at its heart the heart of our homeland, the Tricolor flag. We Italians are very little Patriots, and maybe someone will think that with what we live, it is no wonder, but when we go abroad always feel the nostalgia of our beautiful country. A bit of love of country does not hurt! Admire this beautiful Hall, where the City Council meetings are held and celebrated weddings in a truly special and unique, you'll be fascinated.

  • Sorry no birthday of any player. He was born only flag, honor to the flag for your country should be taught at all. Unfortunately, today is not that day. The Hall has a historical value, used every Monday for the municipal deliberee. Which can be accessed, obviously only as a spectator. Used for civil unions, for all people who love each other even of the same sex. For me the value of this Hall is the Italian flag. Free entrance, notice and accompaniment of a Messenger, which in our case it is dolungato in pleasant explanations. Outside, to the right of the municipality there is Piazza Hut with its Museum. Sadly closed for renovation till September, no reopening date for now.

  • The Museum was renovated and reopened this year really deserves the highest rating. The place, which symbolizes and what transmits deserve 6 stars.

  • Perhaps not everyone knows that Reggio Emilia is the cradle of our flag, adopted by the Cispadane Republic as a sign of resistance to Napoleon (7/1/1797). This Museum (free) at 1. floor of City Hall (2 sets of staircase to go) shows with clear explanatory panels the historical excursus. Not to be missed, the Municipal Hall on the ground floor.
