  • The Villa, potentially beautiful, is located in the heart of the Lungomare Falcomatà, surely that is the most beautiful promenade of Italy; Unfortunately it is owned by individuals who have no desire or resources to restore it back to its former glory. It does not appear that the Italian laws allow a public body to intervene effectively to put an end to situations of deterioration like this.

  • Historical villa of Reggio cal, abandoned to its fate in brush and dirt. But where is the love for the place where one lives without noticing that a piece of history is destroyed?

  • Impossible to miss, as it falls apart and no one does anything, the talking politicians (sorry to keep you awake), sleep a deep sleep from which no one can wake up, not even a Prince. But not even a popular initiative to make it rise again? A Foundation-a fundraiser, etc.

  • A very beautiful building which has been fully restored to look like when its was newly built
  • Belonged to the family of "Governor" Genoese Zerbi, the "great theorist Reggio" that in 1927 incorporated town fourteen municipalities of the periphery. The building dates back to 1925, and was built on the area where the ancient family villa Zerbi before 1860, Venetian models. XIV, with Gothic arches. Of elegant and extraordinary beauty, has become the permanent location of artistic and cultural events of high build, hosting prestigious exhibitions of contemporary art, as well as appreciated sections of the Venice Biennale. The architecture of the Villa recalls the shapes and styles of the middle ages and Renaissance Venetian style, with a hint of the 19th century. A bold mixture of styles then, made even more interesting by careful refinement and detail both the Interior and exterior of the building. The façade is defined by contrasts bright enough and play of lights and shadows obtained through surfaces that alternated the plaster with exposed brick, large loggias, arches of Gothic style, Tower elements and columns used for the balustrades; the large terrace is overhung by a Battlement typical of the castles and fortresses of the middle ages. The Venetian style, in an urban environment foreign to these forms, it is probably with the diffusion of the work of Viollet Le Duc, stones of Venice, and art by John Ruskin, which reproduce, according to an unusual interpretation, the chromatic and the geometry used in the palaces of Venice and beyond. Once a prestigious exhibition venue, now lying in decay ... Hopefully soon get back to its former glory

  • Beautiful example of a Roman patrician villa, built on the ruins of the old family villa Zerbi after the tsunami of 1908. Zaila the redesigned completely different while remaining faithful to the tradition of the Roman villa semplre

  • The villa because of the Venetian Gothic is one of the symbols. That is why it differs from most of the city's Art Nouveau buildings. Unfortunately the choice of material unsuitable for proximity to the sea with which it was built and the degradation and neglect into which today, appears in the eyes of the observer a nice facility but decadent
