  • excellent guide service (very friendly and emotional to tell the stories of the engravings), despite not speaking English

  • Ugly color combination, the type of artwork displayed, you can enhance giving space to the most contemporary works.

  • I recently accompanied an American couple who arrived in the city just to see the Riace bronzes but, considernado their interests, I also proposed the Pinacoteca, for a short visit after lunch. In fact we switched to the 15 and I must say we were greeted with great kindness and helpfulness from staff. The expert of the gallery was a great guide. Even my guests have loved loved loved the service. In fact, at the end and saw that you do not pay neither the note nor the Guide, they asked if they could make a donation. Their kind offer was declined gracefully by simply because not planned ... And I wonder why the Council of Reggio Calabria does not accept unsolicited donations while in other museums with free admission, in Italy and abroad, this practice is widespread? In the end I noticed that lack printed guides, audio guides and ... benches where you can sit and admire the work or simply relax. We must also think about those who have health problems, children and senior citizens and make the cultural offer affordable and enjoyable to them.
