  • To visit along with the beautiful Romanesque church of San Pietro at Cascia, near Moscow, the Museum housed in the rectory behind the Church is small but excellently maintained and maintains the san Giovenale triptych, the first work of Masaccio, well illustrated with explanatory panels but also the explanations of commendable volunteers. There are also interesting Russian icons and some valuable paintings, but of course the most interesting piece is the recently restored triptych, among other things. Ticket 3 euro, Sunday is definitely open.

  • This small Museum of Cascia in appearance may seem of little interest ... In fact it is not so! Inside it contains many cultural treasures of history really well maintained and lit! And even a magnificent painting filled with lots of details: I'm talking about the famous triptych by massive! Only beauty and value that this small museum can boast inside! Recommend to visit if you love history and paintings of yesteryear! Very useful guide that really gets you into the past by telling all the details of the time!

  • 8/13/2016 the Museum is named after the Supreme Masaccio, and preserves a sublime piece: the San Giovenale triptych. The painting is fresh from restoration and appears in all its poignant beauty. You can't take your eyes off this masterpiece, which exudes an aura of sacredness that surrounds everyone comes humbly. But that's not all: there are many works of art to be admired to this Museum; It rewards the visitor with great emotions. Of course visited the adjacent church of San Pietro.
