Casa Leopardi, Recanati
Categories: Specialty Museums, Museums
The vineyards of Casa Leopardi blanket the Recanati slopes that face the sea. You can tour the winery amidst the vines to see the fermenting process and cellars. First, though, your erudite guide will introduce you to the Leopardi history. The family has been cultivating wines since 1100, mainly for personal consumption. Family documents, however, show that the Leopardi palace cellars stored local varieties rather similar to today's.
