  • This is a small palazzo, which you've seen in 5-10 minutes. Nevertheless, the walls are still high for a ruin of this age. I'm not sure about other Gothic remains, but I know that relatively few items...  more »
  • This is the palace of Teodorico,the king of Ostrogoths!The monument has free entrance!The outside of the building is a nice view for some photos.Inside of the palace you will find only some mosaics!If...  more »

  • Cool and easy to miss. There's a worthwhile collection of (largely fragmentary) Roman mosaics upstairs. Also, it's free!
  • Theodoric Palace. A striking example of mixing styles and the influence of barbarian culture on the Roman customs
  • Exceptional building, summarizing centuries of history. Originally part of the Palace exarchal (monumental entrance) then turned into Church of san Salvatore ad casts. Unfortunately the apparatus is totally inadequate.
