Where to stay in Ravenna

Famous for its ancient mosaics, Ravenna is packed with boutique hotels and luxury resorts. Stay near the center of the city for easy foot access to numerous museums, galleries, and World Heritage archeological sites. A less expensive alternative to brand-name hotels, small B&Bs located just minutes from the tourist-driven central districts offer access to secure parking and private yards. Alternatively, you can explore a host of self-catering apartments and private cottages in the picturesque countryside surrounding the city.

  • A small private Zoo and Park pets in the neighborhood with a set of Mirabilandia in Ravenna suburb. There are open and closed zones, predators contained naturally in cages, as well as livestock and poultry that is relevant for modern urban kids.

  • We were on 2 June at this park, entering the parking you notice many photovoltaic panels to cover the car but I don't understand why they haven't completed the asphalt so that you are forced to make competitions between stones and gravel. The first thing you find by going to the Park, without yet having paid the ticket, is a vast area all covered with lots of games for children, obviously surcharge except two inflatables which are free, there are games to suit all tastes, a convenience store in our experience of terrible quality, wc, store gadget and point info. Entered the safari won't we soon found many animal, because the greatest concentration is from mid, exciting entry into the enclosure of the Lions and tigers. Highly recommend using their cars because you have the chance to stay as long as you want, the train is very fast while the electrical machines are enclosed by a cage with fine mesh network, a little sad. The round trip takes about an hour. Back to the playground you enter the pedestrian part and this I guarantee that is not accessible in case of rain. Perhaps this is the most beautiful, there are many precincts with many animal like kangaroos or just horses and donkeys, greatly appreciated the goats that graze, you can't miss the entrance to the area of the lemurs, very very nice. But the real highlight is the ride in the train that follows a path near all the fences to the entrance of the monkey cage. It's a very strange experience because we have fun seeing all these monkeys jumping on the train to look for some food, but I don't think they're really good since I'm continually disturbed and I haven't found an area well equipped and clean, all very arid.
