Ragusa Ibla, Ragusa
(4.7/5 based on 2,200+ reviews on the web)
Baroque, Gothic, and Neoclassical styles grace the facades of the buildings in Ragusa Ibla. A Catalan-Gothic temple that once rested on the square was destroyed in the 1693 earthquake, but you can still see bits of it in a portal at the Cathedral of San Giorgio. Look for the 250 steps leading up to it. Down the narrow streets and in a small square, you'll find the oldest structures in the city, all with carved detail that categorizes them as Renaissance, Gothic, or even earlier.  Put Ragusa Ibla on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Ragusa vacation generator.

  • Amazing city, perched high on a hill, allowing glimpses and views. Here alleys and squares develop in a unique urban fabric, with buildings and roofs in a succession. Miss walking among his climbs between churches and Baroque houses. They really deserve it.

  • Beautifully lit cobbled streets, friendly locals, stunning churches on or around practically every corner. Magical! And the coast is less than a 20 minute drive, perfect!!
