  • Beautiful and charming fortress. Breathtaking panorama. From the top of the tower you can see the Lake Bolsena.

  • We discovered this country because of the detour on Hwy. Very very nice. A quiet little village, of another era. Very nice this fortress or at least what's left of it, considered a sign of the glories of yesteryear. You pay for a ticket to enter by 4 euros per person. There are too many things to see, but a spectacular panorama. Stop to eat in this town. You eat well and little pay. And then get him a ride to visit, including fortress. You have been helpful?

  • 12-16 century medieval fortress, a well preserved on a high Hill in the Tuscan valleys. You can drive right to the entrance by car. Ticket 4 euro, which includes a small archaeological museum and of course the panoramic views around the fortress.

  • Maybe the best view over Toscana, great architecture and impressive historic importance.
  • Not a lot to see up here apart from a great view around the valley.
  • The view from this place is incredible!!!!! You will be looking down at airplanes!!!! It is a rugged fortress that will have you imagining what medieval life was like. The trip up to the top of the tower is well worth the many steps you will climb. The cost to enter the grounds is 2 euro each.
  • The Radicofani fortress stands at the top of a volcanic vent (formed from one million years) on the eastern slopes of monte Amiata (latest volcano which has 300,000 years ago). Nearly a thousand meters between the straw and the val d'Orcia, controlled the transit on the via Cassia and was resting place of the via Francigena. From the tower you can enjoy a beautiful view at 360°. The fortress is related the name of Ghino di Tacco, mentioned by Dante and Boccaccio.

  • Checked off suddenly when I covered the Val d'Orcia in the car, the fortress and its donjon strikes forcefully. Powerful symbol of strength surrounded by a unique environment. The town offers a distinct angles historical beauty.
