  • We stayed at the castle of monterinaldi in the spring of 2016. The Castle has an ancient and beautiful well preserved over the centuries and immersed in the Green Tuscan hills and vineyards. Spectacular. Just arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff of the castle which set out the various stages of the wine making process. We visited the winery and we could create our ideal wine by mixing different types of grapes. In the days following the visit there was sent home the bottle of wine we created with custom label. A very nice initiative! Before lunch we did stock up on bottles of red wine, pesanella, high quality and exquisite almond biscuits. We come to the point: lunch. Tuscan appetizer consisting of fine meats and delicious crostini with tomato sauce and chicken livers, are out of this world. Yummy homemade dunk. As first we tasted homemade sauce noodles by skilled hands and experienced and how the delicious stew. All accompanied by good red wine produced on site. Could not miss the Jam Tart in the final and cantuccini served with Vin Santo. Welcoming staff, very friendly with visitors. Great value for money. We had a wonderful day, I highly recommend visiting and lunch at the Castle.
