Nora, Pula

(4.4/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
The ancient Roman and pre-Roman archaeological site of Nora is an open-air museum, which includes a theater, tower, baths, forum, and mosaics. Take a guided tour through the ruins to hear in-depth detail about the site. The ruins lie at the edge of the sea--some even sit underwater as Sardinia slowly sinks into the ocean--and the optional climb of the tower offers better views. Add Nora to your Pula travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our Pula travel itinerary planner.

  • Very well preserved city from Roman times including stunning floor mosaics. A guided tour helps you to understand everything better. Quiet a long walk from the parking area. A horrible trip there thro...  more »
  • We visited this beautiful Archaeological Park one morning in January, with only a small group of eight people. the Guide drove us with kindness and explained with care and passion each important step; We climbed the Tower, from the top of which the view was unparalleled. The path is smooth, clean, fairly flat definitely suitable to people with limited mobility (except of course the climb to the Tower). The price for a guided tour of more than now is absolutely correct.

  • A must to be able to say I was in Sardinia, the site guides are friendly and knowledgable. I also recommend a visit to the rehabilitation center of cetaceans and sea turtles (very interesting) also the nature trail is a real treat.

  • Nora is simply the best , amazing place
  • Nice beach, not that busy, right next to the archeological site and there are public. Toilets and 2-3 cafes
  • Bellisimo!
  • Magnificent and sheltered from the wind for most of the year
