  • With the spectacular cable car from the Falzarego pass to the Summit, here above the fantastic views over the Dolomites extensively enjoy and then high mountain descent down to make the (prepared) Armentarola: This is one of the highlights should be as advanced skiers in good weather, definitely not to be missed! On the move offered the Scotoni hut is great in a rock basin to the retreat. At the end of the exit go BB´s "Horse taxi" (about a dozen skiers on the rope by a horse-drawn sleigh pulled) the last kilometers back to Armentarola, from where it was started by bus or taxi to the Falzarego pass.

  • We skiied here down Hidden Valley, Such a great place, so peaceful, amazing blue frozen waterfalls. Yet tinged with sadness at the stories of loss of life amongst soldiers in the Great War. One of my ...  more »
  • With the skis from the Plongia hut on the piste 9a and 9 after Armentarola, then take a taxi for Euro 6 per person on the pass past at the historical Museum. In no time they ride the lifts upwards. Now, an 8.5 km long downhill on picturesque rocks waits back after Armentarola. A must: A break in the Scotoni hut and the horse lift on the last kilometer. The "lift" costs 2.50 euros.

  • Killer panorama irrespective of season, can't miss slope in winter and excellent trek in summer. Frozen waterfalls of Sass Dlacia a must in winter. Spending the night there can provide you with an opportunity to witness unforgettable sunset and dawn scenes.
  • Gorgeous views that can be easily obtained on the gondola (funivia) or through a steep hike (which was made more difficult through trail closures). While it is not a long hike, the elevation gain over the short distance is impressive even for fit individuals.
  • This is a great place at any time of year. What a pity Google Streetview lists it as of "WW11 importance". Any visitor will quickly realise the place was a major site in WW1, not the '39-45 conflict.
  • Nice. Taxi service only partially good, if you take the bus, it costs the same, takes much longer
  • The plant is not modern and often crowded but the view from the Summit and the two slopes that descend offer a priceless experience. Great trails downhill even in summer along the tunnels and fortifications of the great war
