  • I'm a railway Modeller and I went because the train theme. Take the first train ride Villarosa and already I'm contented. There is the old water tower to supply the steam locomotives of 1879: extremely rare. Then the water column between the tracks always for water supply well restored and the mushroom-shaped tower. For fans that's quite enough. Then beside the Museum with old wagons and in the history of the territory: the mine, the rural world, the railway sector and more. I had no idea so many artifacts of the time collected so carefully and let professionalism. It is in the path of the routes site. I can't describe it and I will not dwell: this experience is living. But the most important thing is to have met the President of the Association who designed and runs the Museum: First David. Think of a person of great ability who loves his place which was the stationmaster Villarosa where you created this project that fascinates even people like me who is not interested in the train. There is more to it. First David's generosity, selflessness and a Professional Organizer. It's not over there with him I was in the village of Newark fraction Villarosa where there is a Museum in the old village houses also designed by the Association of Railway Museum and directed by First David. A place with a round hill from Impressionist painting, people's unique atmosphere, a nice restaurant and a coffee making slushies from master. But out of Newark I'll write another review. One August afternoon memorable. I am a native of Caltanissetta and in these years I have never been here. Finally I lived this experience William Pilate

  • The story of this museum is to discover, thanks to our first David, stationmaster historian we have this little gem. The Museum built on disused railway carriages was a brilliant idea, create and perform everyday, working life days, the story of our grandparents should not be just a Museum, but they are our memories and cannot be forgotten. Remember that for a period it was used as a freight car in a restaurant, but then I think the activity having no cash has been closed. This project started many years ago should get the attention it deserves and the competent institutions should begin to promote and enhance this site that conveys memories.

  • We were lucky, we found open because others had booked the tour. Beautiful things gathered in the wagons, nice for my son (5 years) train enthusiast.
