  • Small museum located in the Centre of Predazzo. Despite the size are not particularly large, the Museum is interesting, and offers a basket full on the geology of the Dolomites, without going into excessive technicalities but showing with images and exhibits the history of these mountains. The visible remains are both rocks minerals, fossils, and in addition also the reconstruction of some prehistoric animal whose remains were found on site. It's a museum suitable for both adults and children, although I feel that adults can appreciate or teenager more than little kids. An attraction to visit, perhaps in one of those rainy days that often occur in the mountains. In addition, the ticket price is low, so all the more reason to see the Museum!

  • Thanks to the Guest Card, issued from Predazzo Residence Kristall, where we were on vacation, I had the opportunity, together with my family, visit the geological Museum of the Dolomites, which I think would be intrigued, all lovers of architecture Dolomite mountain range. It is a Museum, not very big, with a great attention to detail with extensive use of wood, and geological collections showcases, containing several specimens. It is on two floors, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the various realities of the Dolomites, discovering the history and meaning. Marvel the fact, which is also very technologically, in fact gives you the possibility to make use of interactive videos that explain the origins of the Dolomites and the first world war, of which he was a spectator. Finally, has the richest collection of invertebrate fossils of Triassic-Middle cliffs preserved in Italy, therefore, is not to be missed.

  • Are free admission thanks to Guest Card given by the hotel, but it is the whole ticket price! I highly recommend you watch the movie even if it lasts about fifty minutes because it explains to perfection as formed the Dolomites, really very interesting!

  • The Museum is very interesting. Not very big, very fine material that describes the evolution of the trentino region over millions of years. Fantastic fossils the document the presence of the sea in val di Fassa and Fiemme. A section is dedicated to the war that unfolded in the valleys in 14-18.
