  • Is located a few kilometers from my home and sometimes we step to renew the astonishment that never ends. Romanesque church where the underground part is what remains of an Etruscan Macaw or Etruscan doors. From the church you can admire the Valley "casentino" in the context of the Arno. In the immediate vicinity (about 500 meters) there is the Romanian castle that still view (albeit severely tested by years) its importance and its former beauty. Who was to pass around here can't give up the visit of this/these sites.

  • A beautiful Pieve isolated, surrounded by the Tuscan hills. Beautiful and exciting read the way of redemption. On foot you can reach the Castle.

  • Secluded in beautiful countryside casentinese, lies this splendid Romanesque church, magical place of incomparable beauty. Dating back to the 12th century, consists of a simple stone façade and a striking and extraordinary arched apse. The Interior is a splendor of monolithic columns and valuable capitals with foliage or figures, topped off by the simplicity of the Romanesque style and wonderfully relaxing and meditative atmosphere, to enjoy for all you send. Background music accompanies your visit and find the magnificence of nature, where fields of sunflowers and fruit trees illuminated by settembrino warm sun, intoxicate the senses. Not to be missed, to come back!!!

  • I recommend a visit. A jewel of Romanesque architecture in the middle of the countryside of Casentino. A place that inspires peace and serenity.

  • The Church is a place where the Lord spoke to my heart, as to that of those entering have listened and you have to listen.
