  • I went to this park several times, both in summer and winter. You can take walks and not in summer. Instead in winter as well as snowshoeing, there is also the possibility to do skiing. Suitable for all

  • Nice easy hike to do in family with young children (including 3-4 years)! The route starts from the last country Pattemouche parking not far from Sestriere (7-8 km). There are 2 possible accesses in the vicinity of the bridge (reported): the one on the left is both drive-pedestrian (recommended if you have disabled, wheelchairs or strollers for kids or if you decide to make the first stretch drive), the one on the right is pedestrian only and obviously going along this path avoids breathing the exhaust of cars!! Both along the riverbank. Are both valid. After a few km you will reach the first refuge (mill of Laval). Following the trail to the right you enter the Val Troncea nature park and Riverfront you can reach the second Refuge (refuge Troncea, in total 5 km from Pattemouche). Within the Park it is possible to camp and light fires. Dogs on a leash. The path is easy and flat. For children it is fun to make stops in several natural pools of the river. Along the way you encounter the ancient remains of the Mine of the Bet and ample space for a picnic on the lawns!
