Spiaggia Grande
Lounge in the sun or go for a swim at Spiaggia Grande. Facing the sea you will get views of the clear water. Facing away from the sea, you can enjoy the scenery of the town of Positano, with its winding cobblestone streets leading to the beach. Tour nearby shops, visit the bars or restaurants, or catch a ferry to a nearby restaurant or beach. Sun loungers are available for rent. If swimming, be careful as you enter the water, the pebbles drop off suddenly into slightly deeper water. A safety barrier keeps boats from entering the swimming area. Before you head to Positano, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Positano travel itinerary planner, to make sure you see all that Positano has to offer, including Spiaggia Grande.

This beach was too big and was packed with sun beds and parasols. I recommend bathing shoes as the beach was made of small stones.

It is a really special place. It's not the easiest or the cheapest beach to visit, but it's all about location. The price is quite step starting from €30 for beach access and a sunbed. But the sunbeds are serviced and have serving of both food and drinks. The beach is a pebble beach and can be quite hard on your feet. Cold showers are €0,5 and warm showers €2. Parking can be hard to find and expensive if you come by car, parking starts from €10h for minimum 3h.

Excellent beach with amazing views and very safe to leave your items on the rented umbrellas. There is food and drink service directly to your umbrella . There are friendly staff that keep an eye on everything. The umbrellas are a bit expensive to rent in peak season at 30EUR per person but that’s for the whole day so worth the money if you fancy a beach day. Showers cost 50c

Pretty town when sunny. Off peak season good time to visit as less people to bump into. However many of the amenities are closed. All shops cater to tourists specifically 🍋 can be found everywhere. Many shops do take card payment. The picturesque coastal cliffs that give the area its charm are also the reason why your legs will get a thorough workout. Taxi to Amalfi is not cheap and journey approx 20 mins via winding rounds. Not much choice when bus drivers are on strike! Typically a whole pizza 18€ a juice 4.50€ approx. Lasting impression: Positano is a place to visit at least once in your life not over and over. Perhaps explore the less popular towns around area.

One of the Best Places around the world to visit and have a relax with an amazing view 😍
-
This beach is crowded and expensive - €30 per person for a sunbed! The sand is dark and very hot so you must have beach shoes. Great views of the town from the sea but honestly this beach is overrated.
