Spiaggia Grande, Positano

3.1
#3 of 17 in Beaches in Amalfi Coast
Lounge in the sun or go for a swim at Spiaggia Grande. Facing the sea you will get views of the clear water. Facing away from the sea, you can enjoy the scenery of the town of Positano, with its winding cobblestone streets leading to the beach. Tour nearby shops, visit the bars or restaurants, or catch a ferry to a nearby restaurant or beach. Sun loungers are available for rent. If swimming, be careful as you enter the water, the pebbles drop off suddenly into slightly deeper water. A safety barrier keeps boats from entering the swimming area. • Small beach in the port of Positano. Because he was so crowded. As many people into the sea rather than sunbathing.

  • Positano everything is magical. This beach, the large and busy village, itself is one beach more, but with its setting and environment makes it fabulous. To arrive, having come down from the bus, coming from Sorrento or Salerno, you go and explore the beautiful and narrow streets of Positano, very picturesque, with much art, culture, colors, souvenir shops and clothing (and people!). Ending the tour (all down) comes to this beach with a super crystalline and turquoise sea. Looking back we can see the Church and the village nestled in the mountains. Beautiful. From the top, the panoramic views of the sea, the town and the beach are excellent!

  • We went to Positano from Piano di Sorrento, in a trip of about hour and a half. Travel is slow as it passes through the Centre of Sorrento and then takes to Positano, all curves and cornices with significant traffic in the summer. But everything is saved with the dazzling sights that can be seen a blue Mediterranean that stands out among creeks lost by the mountains of the Sorrentina peninsula. In the vicinity of Positano, tourists crowd over the windows to photograph the beautiful landscape of the large beach and across the town, it seemed like a dream postcard! Positano is on a slope and the path is passed to a considerable height, the views are great! After getting off at the first stop, the journey begins for down stairs! up to the Centre of Positano and the beautiful beach. I think it is an incredible experience, but exhausting! Another way to descend by vehicles is there. We chose the walk! Reach the Centre, filled with cafes, souvenir shops and boutiques are incredible and lovely! All Positano worth a visit photo! To rest awaited us Grande beach stretched over the front of the center of the city, with a sea of background: blue and very serene, incredible! Go to Positano, walk the streets and corridors, see its art galleries and boutiques and finally relaxed in a sunset from the beach is worth a visit if or if once in your life! Highly recommended!
