  • The municipality of Portogruaro is a Gothic structure, built of bricks, with Ghibelline battlements. Built in two phases: the oldest part, the middle one, dates back to 1265, while the two side wings were added in 1512. On the front are present elegant Venetian-style Windows and a stone staircase with a balcony. In the upper floor there is the main entrance, with the municipal coat of arms. There are three paintings of Portogruaro Luigi Russolo and a painting by the 17th century, depicting the Madonna and child that protects the city. There is a nice "fee schedule" engraved on stone, with the prices charged by boatmen Ayan. Luigi Russolo (1885-1947 Cerro Laveno Portogruaro), he devoted himself to studying music and painting. He attended Boccioni and Carrà and with them he signed, in 1910, the Manifesto of the Futurist painters. In the music industry (Futurist) wrote the art of noises (1916) and performed concerts with new tools, the "intonarumori", built by himself. Around the Palace have taken six "Grand" from stone. On the ground floor in the Hall of columns, the costume city Herald.

  • This location is the city of Portogruaro. In the background one can see the Lemene River. The square also has a fountain with two birds "Gru", which gave rise to the name of the city.

  • I suggest you take a walk in Cividale. To us, this delightful small town restless tourists Romans gave a feeling of peace ... the perception that life flows serene and slow, like the atmosphere that lead to gift the narrow streets spread among the oldest buildings in the village. Mentioning the remains longobardi, Romans and the nearby wars. Striking the Longobard Temple, the Devil's bridge and the sanctuary of Castelmonte, worth a visit!
