  • An original visit and by no means boring! The ability to help tell the story of the Royal Palace of Portici ranging through history, religion, philosophy and folklore with the common thread of Carnival and its forms, allowed me to learn many new concepts. The tale was also cheered by an Exchange "play" with a picture so good. Sincere congratulations and due to the Guide and to the actor. Congratulations to the Palace and its museums that can grow and see as soon as the necessary restorations. I hope that soon could arrange major events of similar quality from a broad feedback in order to offer a more suitable to a wide audience (eg a book shop)

  • Often we go through the Palace of Portici, without pause, but it is important to pull the so-called parking brake or throw the anchor, I mean no matter how stand, it is important to stop and see the Real Site of the porticos. The Museum has been restored and is the centerpiece and the birth of various local attractions such as the ruins of Herculaneum. Born at the behest of the Bourbons, the Palace is really nice and has a botanical interesting, and well preserved. The assaults of the agglomeration urban citizen undermined the properties, yet still boasts a huge forest above and below to visit. Like many historic homes, needs to enormous expense to maintain it, and it would be worthy to concentrate public economic efforts to keep her impeccably.

  • Summer residence built by King Charles of Bourbon to the ruling family is now partly to retrieve the ancient beauties. It is also home to the Faculty of agriculture, Università degli studi di Napoli "Federico II". In the Palace there is a forest, said "Real wood of Arcades".
