  • At the beginning of the main street of Poppi. The Church has more lateral entrances, one on via Cavour and the main one that in a little square that overlooks the Casentino. The Church is really beautiful and majestic. The Abbey is a Latin cross plan and is linked to the patron saint of Poppi, Torello. Definitely worth a visit.

  • Abbey steeped in history and tradition. Upon entering we were greeted by very impressive background music that has catapulted into a place full of Holiness. I highly recommend reading the story of blessed Torello da Poppi.

  • At the bottom of the mystical is this beautiful, main street Cavour, Abbey, with a simple and rustic stone front with side entrance. The Interior is a continuous discovery of amazing art that captures so overwhelming the senses: a succession of wonderful stone altars surrounding so many wonderful boards and painted canvas, a painted wooden crucifix of exquisite workmanship, a stunning 13th-century altarpiece depicting the "Madonna with child", must be admired, and a beautiful crypt. Extraordinary collection that makes the unique environment, holding you back inside for gazing all around, with a subtle undercurrent of sacred music. Wonder worth visiting, to contemplate and to revisit!
