  • Formerly Trebula, oscan, Samnite, Roman city then so imposing vestiges of civilization sannita, preserves Treglia dating back to the fourth century. a. c. The walls, of about 2 km, is characterized by numerous gaps, including the impressive Megalithic Doorway. The Romans chose it as their "resting" for the beauty of the land and the healthy climate. Around the 2nd century AD. a. c. developed along the road connecting with the locality now known as Le Campole resort, inside the walls, the Roman town, with public baths, thus the naming Balliensis, equipped with apoditeryon, frigidarium, calidarium.

  • Find historical artifacts as much beautiful as important in a rural settlement as Pontelatone is something fascinating. Too bad it's not valued properly
