  • The Museum of costume and textile handicraft to Chianale is a small museum, housed in the ancient Church of the Capuchins gathering many valuable artifacts from the wardrobe of shoes: work clothes, headphones, linens and blankets. Understand how with a few things, fabrics, hemp and wool, multicolored ribbons, horsehair etc., are industrious hands and lots of imagination of women could be born small masterpieces. The families hand down clothes similar to those kept in the Museum and wear them every year on 10 August, the feast of San Lorenzo, for the traditional parade. Are almost touching the faces photographed family portraits by the pastor of the parish church of san Lorenzo of the early twentieth century that make us relive days gone by.
