  • This is a busy cathedral. The interior is stunning and is one of our favourites during our road trip in Italy. The wall paintings and decoration inside the church is beautiful  more »
  • Take the lift (2€) upto the top of the church bell tower for stunning 360 views over Pompei. You can see Capri as well!  more »
  • Though the church is beautiful and imposing, what I found most rewarding was visiting the tomb of Blessed Bartolo Longo which is in a chapel accessed through the side of the sanctuary.  more »

  • Church with lovely frescoes and baroque style architecture. We visited in the morning and were a little short of time, so returned in the afternoon after a day in 90°+ heat. Although entry in the morning was no problem, my fiancee was denied entry by a nice lady at the entrance. Her above the knee (but thoroughly decent) shorts were too short. I missed the part in the Bible about that, although did note the bank provided ATM in the church. So be warned, a money lender is welcome, but not a woman dressed in shorts...
  • The architecture is fabulous in this building. There was prayers ongoing at the time. The piazza in front of the building is beautiful with a large fountain, this is also a noise free area. Well worth a viewing if in Pompei.
  • Very interesting establishment reaffirming of faith. A satanic priest turned saint had Thai commissioned. Very well curated in the heart of Pompeii. Beautiful piazza in front with shops and restaurants. Worth a stop if you are into Catholicism and in the area. Incredible book matched marble and painting from late 1800s.
  • This church was built in 1876 after the conversion of Blessed Bartolo Longo. His remains can be found in the church. The painting of the Our Lady of the Rosary, featuring the Virgin Mary and Child Jesus presenting rosaries to St. Dominic & St. Catherine of Siena, can be found at the high altar. If you attend the last Mass (7pm), there will be an interesting ceremony after Mass, whereby a curtain will come down to cover the painting.
  • Heard very nice mass on Sunday morning. Beautiful main altar with a delight of orange halo at the front.. Worth the visit.
