  • I've seen no real interest in visiting this place, some cells and some paintings almost erased... not what get excited (in principle...!) much more fun the "gabinetto segretto" Archaeological Museum!

  • Is nothing more than one of the Pompeian brothels, private transgression widely attended from all walks of life. You will see the beds used for performance and small squares depicting various scenes. It is definitely a nice thing to see and you visit quickly. Unfortunately it is not always open.

  • Probably one of the best preserved and renovated Domus ... and there is always a fine line outside to get in (I wonder why ...). Strait and narrow place ... you are not allowed access to more than 10 people at a time.

  • Extremely interesting place. This is the ancient red house of Pompeii and you can even see the positions the prostitutes used to offer to clients
  • One of the best places to see. Amazing that the"menu"was preserved. Love the 'pompeii GPS' (according to our guide - global penis system)
  • Make sure you have a great tour guide, ours was a prude and did not want to talk about the brothel. I literally started using Google to figure out everything that was going on there from the menu to the penises on the walls leading the way for the sailors.
  • Great to see, a highlight of the tour. A tour guide knows to show so much detail in the area that a tourist wouldn't be able to spot.
  • If you are so much into ruins, then maybe you will enjoy this... but for me the history is not too deep to appreciate it. To summarize it all 1. highlight the signs on the rocks / historical red light district (the menu) 2. dirtiest job, laundry using urine 3. rocks 4. burnt people from the volcanic eruption 5. more rocks, rocks, rocks Visited March 2015
