Safari Park, Pombia

Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
3.7/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web
Safari Park provides a zoo, amusement park, and safari experience. Drive through the safari area in your car or hop on board the small train. Spot lions, rhinos, hippos, zebras, monkeys, pelicans, and more. In the zoo area, visit the farm, aquarium, and reptile house. Try to catch one of the animal shows, such as the birds of prey performance, which are announced on the loudspeaker. In the amusement area, enjoy rides, go-karts, and a video game arcade. There are several food outlets as well as ample picnic areas. If you’d like to snap some photos of the safari animals, it is best to drive your own car as the train will not stop for photo opportunities. • We stayed at the Safari Park with our little girl of 19 months and we enjoyed it a lot. The Park is divided into two parts, one can do a mini safari among wild animals by car or by train, a visit to the Aquarium, reptile Park, Insectarium and aviaries scattered in areas of the Park and rides for children, according to their age. The Park has numerous green areas and relaxation, where you can walk and play. Inside it is possible to choose between bar, gliglieria and self service. We had a blast, but mostly she enjoyed our little girl but objectively I would make the following notes:-when we visited Hippo and elephant and some birds in the aviaries were alone, I think for their welfare there should be at least two animals for each species; -in case of a great crowd there are plenty of benches for resting. Really suited and recommended for families.

  • There are different ways to manage and organize the Zoological Parks, and that of Pombia should review its organization. More than the care and welfare of animals, it seemed to me that you are interested much more to the economic aspect, which is important to sustain such structures, but not at the expense of animals! Those who were most impressed were the monkeys, relegated in an environment suitable for anything, the parrots used to do shows (which personally I strongly condemn) and the Hippo ... a real sadness!

  • The combination of the playground with its many attractions and the area where animals, including the majority are not closed in a cage, it's definitely different from other parks too because you can visit by car or by train of the Safari Park, personally I do not like the lock up exotic animals in a few square meters , I just hope that these species have been placed only on grounds of inability to live in their natural state.

  • The rides are not specatcular, but great for smaller kids (around 9).
  • lt's an intersting and wonderful place!
  • Fantastico per i bambini
  • Great for kids. best when you have a car with window ceiling!
  • Cute place, fairly well maintained. Services (food and hygiene items) should be reviewed are too 80 years (I know that for someone the Turk and the best choice but the walls of the bathrooms spoke clear).
