  • The place is definitely interesting, located at the southern end of the old village of Polla of medieval, but probably rebuilt in the 800. The convent instead, as not many years promoted to shrine dates back in its original structure at 1500 then enlarged over the following centuries. The Church is part of the complex of St. Anthony sees the ceiling forty canvases painted in the 17th century. The convent itself is worth visiting for its quiet out of time and for the beautiful scenery that can give.

  • In Italy there are so many wonders that some are not even mentioned. 500 Sanctuary located on a hill. Beautiful ceiling and organ. Beautiful the confessionals. Some abandoned despite in 2010 it is said that the statue of St. Anthony has those tears and there gushed forth all verification checks. The cloister and garden with beautiful views are a bit abandoned, perhaps because now live there only three old monks who will soon be replaced. Open the inside and you can see also the refectory and the kitchen. If you go to those areas, let us jump
