  • I've started going to the Park in the late 1990s. I know him very well and occupies a large area extending from colle di San Floriano to the area below to several hectares. It goes without saying that its peak in spring, summer and autumn, in which the vegetation takes on different colours. I often traveled by bike or on foot. There are many trails available and marked on maps found in the park that illustrate the characteristics of the flora, fauna and animal farms present such as: sheep, equine, bovine and various farmyard breeds: chickens, turkeys, Guinea fowl, pigs ... that certainly can have one more educational value for couples with children who have the opportunity to see them together at various crops. There is also a garden of medicinal and aromatic plants. There is also a gastro pubs, accommodation and to practice gymnastics and other sports listed on its website. I prefer to attend the lower "dank" bordered by the river Livenza where there are "Rotten" typical technique in use in areas of resurgence. Fields crossed by special ducts closed obviously armed that allowed flooding the ground rot on the last year's mowing to encourage the regeneration of nutrients, a technique much used in the Po Valley. It's a shame that the river Livenza is dry because the "Rotten" are a very sophisticated winter irrigation using water of spring which generally have a temperature ranging from 8 to 12° C, and which prevents flowing unabated on the ground grassy layer cooling grows, even though winter temperatures of the air above it are low. We're not sure who introduced this technique, goes back to the Cistercian monks who seems to have it then in widespread in Northern Italy. This system allowed farmers to feed the cattle by the end of February with fresh herbs. But this I don't think park goers interests. The particular climate that made possible this technique however, and the same, although (given the known climate) that makes pleasant attendance of the Park even in winter with other climatic concomitants of the pedemontana, since the temperature remains mild. I often take place or mountain bike trails overlooking sunny foothills taking off my jacket and remaining in t-shirt even in the winter months.

  • Ideal for socialising, eating in a rustic and unpretentious. Friendly, affordable and guests with whom share wine and jokes. Menu of days gone by: meats, homemade pickled vegetables, pasta with sausage sauce, roast chicken and polenta, homemade tarts, nose and a number of brandies and liquors made from them. Ends with walks and visit the animals. Kids driven by employees can play and perform chores that then take home.

  • the Park is a true paradise, recommended for trips with friends or family, both with children of all ages or elderly. There is also a shuttle bus that lets you access the park itself without effort. One of the most attractive towns of zina, is well worth a visit.
