  • We visited this zoo with our two year old son impassioned about animals. Unfortunately we took a very hot day and many animals were in their admissions away from heat. So we didn't get to see such as the Tiger, wolves and elephants. We were impressed with how some of them could be touched and caressed such as giraffes. To visit it, well I guess it takes approximately 2 hours. A nice solution to spend an afternoon with your children.

  • I went for my daughter but I confess that I fell in love with it too. That said, for those who love animals is to visit. A thank you and a greeting goes to good, beautiful and well prepared girl who made us.

  • It was smaller than I thought. But it was so hot this day that I was thankful for the size. I have never been so close to the animals at another zoo and stood in awe in front of all of them. I have no...  more »

  • Nice Zoological park of Tuscany region with very friendly staff.
  • The zoo is really interesting
  • Cool !
  • The Pistoia Zoo is very well maintained, clean, with ample parking and easy to reach because outside the city. Inside there are toilets (which might be more cared for) a small restaurant and a bar. With our 3 year old daughter we opted for the bar, organized as a Self-service, which still offers in addition to sandwiches, salads, lasagnas and pastas. The prices are quite expensive, many in fact they'd bring food from home and there are many areas where you can stop for a rest. There are many animals is respected their habitat and size of the enclosures are almost all very wide, so much so that certain animals we couldn't get either! In short it should arrive the new elephants. Lovely idea that sheep and goats food distributors giraffes (bring pennies from 20 cents!) The kids won't want to leave! Beautiful park for young and old

  • Great place for a family outing, suitable for children large and small that can interact by giving authorized feed from the zoo to some animals including giraffes. Around the Zoo is well kept and clean, the variety of animals to observe is quite wide and the staff organize morning and afternoon events to engage the public as "afternoon tea with the bear". Many spaces to entertain the children with play areas, tables to eat and benches for resting, restaurant, public toilets, numerous baskets and large parking complete the structure easily accessible off highway. The only notes that I might make, are for the fences of hippos, elephants and Reptile House that they seemed a bit too small to accommodate the mole ... I also noticed the absence of staff for the Park, which I found for example in other zoos, I noticed it because unfortunately this morning would have needed a presence where the fence goat pens where a large group of children and adults Asians began to pull everything inside the fence feeding paper also to goats, and unfortunately I was the only one to point out the thing. However apart from this unpleasant episode, it was a very enjoyable day.
