  • The silver step is very special. Worth 30 minutes of tour guide. But the rest of the Cathedral is an interesting piece of history.

  • Anyone who comes to visit the town of Pistoia can not refrain from visiting one of the most beautiful Italian cities where it rises to the sky the Bell Tower of the Cathedral of Pistoia. The Cathedral has a long history that goes back almost to the limits of the end of the Roman Empire. The present building was built on a religious building built during the Lombard domination. The Cathedral is full of artwork where stands out among all the Silver Altar of San Jacopo at which he surely Brunelleschi. Finally a beautiful church rich in history, with many works of art in its interior, attached to the Palace of the bishops with the adjoining archaeological route. Not to be missed! I recommend visiting!

  • Its sober and elegant Romanesque façade reminds us that we are in Tuscany and is very similar to her sisters cathedrals of Lucca and Pisa. The Interior looks simple and severe, pruned from the Baroque superstructures, today appears a compost rich spiritual elegance. There are few works of art if not funerary sculptures and the beautiful Renaissance pulpit. also worth visiting the crypt and the silver altar located in the chapel of the crucifix. Very classy the slender Bell Tower.

  • Beautiful
  • Understood in Pistoia on a Saturday morning. I decide to visit the Cathedral. Just look cheesy stalls in piazza cluttered worthy of a suburban market. Dear Greeneries hunted your politicians unworthy to administer such beauty scarred by invasive junk Saturday. This square is not only of Pistoia but of all humanity.
