San Paolo is a church in Pistoia, Tuscany, Italy. It was built in 748, and remade in the 12th century, although only in the 14th century it obtained the current forms. The exterior is characterized by a typical Tuscan blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles, with a polychrome decoration of the façade. Over the portal is a statue of St. James, attributed to Orcagna. The interior has been largely turned into a Baroque one in the 17th and 19th centuries. • at the entrance to the old town, a church where you can participate in the liturgy of the Apostolic Fraternity and stopping to make perpetual Eucharistic adoration ...

  • Unfortunately the Church on the morning of October 10 was closed so I could just stop watching her outside, but I must say it was worth it, well cared for has a truly stunning façade, located in the proximity of the Centre of Pistoia, highly recommended and I hope you are luckier than me so you can see inside.

  • Church annexed convent of the same name, is a nice treat for tourists. The nave is unique and very wide both in height and width and, upon entering, the eye is immediately drawn to the frescoes covering the walls behind the high altar and two side chapels to it. Don't miss out on this visit.

  • Classic example of Franciscan architecture whose construction began in 1289. To report the frescoes with stories of Saints Anthony and Ludovico di Giovanni di Bartolomeo Cristiani and histories of san Donnino di Bonaccorso di Cino.
