Il Rione Dirupo, ammirato solo dall'alto, è stato inserito dal Ministero dei Beni Culturali e Ambientali tra le "100 Meraviglie d’Italia", ma recentemente non è riuscito candidarsi come "Patrimonio Mo... more »The ward cliff, admired only from above, was submitted by the Ministry of cultural and environmental heritage as one of the "100 wonders of Italy", but recently failed run for "Unesco World Heritage" okay that the houses and streets are reminiscent of the Sassi di Matera, but I've seen too much dirt and several houses that were abandoned. A heritage that requires lots of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, because the land is fragile because of water seepage. Many times there have been landslides, including the most serious occurred in the late 12th century.

E' un paese che assomiglia molto ai paesini de... more »Pisticci is a town in the Interior of Basilicata is about 12 km from the sea where there are beautiful beaches with pine trees overlooking the sea. It is a country that is very similar to the villages of Greece with typical white houses perched on the top of the mountain, the night lights and looks like a manger. The neighborhood Cliff has a belvedere with a panoramic view of the rocky inlets and on clear days you can see the sea. Unlike other districts the "Cliff" is one of the most cool in summer because the area is open and overlooks the inlets I stayed renting apartments for several summers and I was always good, the people are simple people and tourist-friendly

abbiamo visitato il piccolo paesino di Pisticci e ci siamo soffermati ad ammirare il bellissimo panorama di piccole casette bianche , ance se con un po' di tristezza, sapendo della tragedia della fran... more »We visited the small village of Pisticci and we paused to admire the beautiful view of small white houses, even if with a bit of sadness, knowing of the tragedy of the landslide that caused the formation of the cliff. nearby we stopped in a small local ice cream shop called "chic chic" where we ate a great gelato! recommend it to all those who travel in Basilicata by pausing to visit the small village of Pisticci because it offers an amazing panoramic view!!
