This morning we decide to take a trip to the Marina By the beach. Paid parking is located near the beach and this is an advantage. The beach is very wide and the sea is clean. Surely there is room for improvement: parking is very expensive: € 8 full days, we who have done from 9.30 until 12 o'clock we paid almost 4 euros! And the beach is not clean but this depends on the incivility of those who attended because on spuaggia I counted well 22 baskets for rubbish but people prefer leaving the waste where it is. ... In reaching the Marina meets a great first paid parking: no parking in the Marina but to the mouth of the river Serchio! You have to be careful not to park here because the beach at the mouth of the river is not clean but full of debris and not easily accessible. Some signs are misleading and lead us to conclude this first parking lot as useful for free beach access when in fact you have to walk a few kilometers to get to the Marina itself.

Two areas recommend:-free zone near the Home-free area near the mouth of the river Serchio.

Very beautiful beach of Marina di Vecchiano, very natural, very charming with its natural dunes. To park in this place you have to pay for parking, all places are paid and all access roads are with parking ban for kilometres, made specifically to pay for parking. Like all Pisa parking is a big problem pe Pisapass tourists, who do not have an exposed on the glass.

  • Pros: one of the few places in Tuscany where, thanks to the natural park will prevent the arrival of thousands of cars in a matter of hours cons: Sea so-so, dirty Beach, free beach toilet full of debris that arrives, dunes with clear signs of romantic embraces. Then, I understand the intent to lessen the traffic, but here it looks like he's just want cash for Pisamo's friends. Parking: minimum payment € 1.50 from mid May (mid May!) with empty Beach and bathing season still beyond to come. I repeat: it is the sea of the Maremma, and I charge almost double.

  • In addition to the paid chairs is left a parking lot with free place on the beach. High summer, yet in the morning free places. Beach is clean and the expiration in the water is relatively flat. Good place. Beach vendors questions reasonably normal prices. Been here several times.

  • Huge beach and few people, along with the stain behind. You like me ... but we are in April.

  • For those looking for free beach is ideal. The only flaw, all paying car parks (nor too cheap)

  • Nice and quiet
