  • You should visit this square at night, in the dark, to experience a feeling of the past, of the middle ages. The area is often very quiet and worth the visit. Notice the chapel of Sant'Agata in front of the Church

  • Is incorrect report only that the Church is closed. The Church is in evident restructuring as can be seen from the photos that we enter. I went there on 13 February, after visiting Piazza del Campo "enticed by an art expert who considers it a masterpiece of Pisan Romanesque in the 12th century. You can see the façade, completed by Giovanni Pisano. Gable, with pilaster strips, blind arches and marble works, the three orders of loggias with carved cornices. Closed is the nearby 11th-century chapel with octagonal structure of Sant'Agata.

  • A beautiful church, outside of the most interesting. Too bad that, as well as many buildings and churches in the city, this has always been closed on days of visit to Pisa. If so we want to encourage tourism.
